Our volunteer team includes working professionals, retirees, and individuals like you who are dedicated to shaping a better future for the next generation.

Volunteer Application Process
To become a volunteer with us, please follow these steps:
- Download, complete and mail the volunteer application form by clicking on the download button below. Once completed, please mail it to: UPHF Volunteer, 322 N Shore Dr., Pittsburgh, PA, 15212. You can also obtain a copy via email by reaching out to us at our “Contact Us” link.
- After receiving your application, the Foundation will contact you by phone or email to discuss suitable volunteer opportunities based on your skills, interests, and availability. We will also set up a one-on-one interview.
- Once approved, you will be invited to attend and complete a volunteer orientation session before starting your service. Orientation covers an overview of The Union Printers Home Foundation, and a summary of our programs and services.
- Upon completion and final approval, you can sign up for available volunteer opportunities and events.
Please Note:
- One-time volunteers do not need to attend an orientation.
- Certain volunteer roles may require additional interviews, clearances, and/or waivers.
